Solution :-

(a) [He] 2s1

Complete electronic configuration: 1s2 2s1 .

∴the element’s atomic number is 3 . The element is lithium (Li)

(b) [Ne] 3s2 3p3

Complete electronic configuration: 1s2s2 2p6 3s3p3 .

∴the element’s atomic number is 15. The element is phosphorus (P).

(c) [Ar] 4s2 3d1

Complete electronic configuration: 1s2 2s2p6 3s2 3p6 4s3d1 .

∴the element’s atomic number is 21. The element is scandium (Sc).
