D. Democracies are more prosperous than others is not a good argument in favor of democracy. There are examples of democratic countries like Sri Lanka, India which though being democratic are not as prosperous as countries that are either communist or monarchist in nature. For example, China which is a communist country, and Saudi Arabia which is a monarchist country are more prosperous than India which is a democratic country.
