Solution :-

Given \( tan^{-1}(tan \dfrac{\pi}{3})\)

As tan-1(tan x) = x if x ϵ \( (\dfrac{-\pi}{2},\dfrac{\pi}{2})\)

By applying this condition in the given question we get,

\( tan^{-1}(tan \dfrac{\pi}{3})=\dfrac{\pi}{3}\)
