Given:

Centre (0, 2) and radius 2

Let us consider the equation of a circle with centre (h, k) and

Radius r is given as (x – h)+ (y – k)= r2

So, centre (h, k) = (0, 2) and radius (r) = 2

The equation of the circle is

(x – 0)+ (y – 2)= 22

x+ y+ 4 – 4y = 4

x+ y2 – 4y = 0

The equation of the circle is x+ y2 – 4y = 0
