Find the middle term in the expansion of \( (\dfrac{x}{a} – \dfrac{a}{x})^{10}\)

Solution :-

We have,

where, n = 10 (even number)

So the middle term is (\( \dfrac{n}{2}\) + 1) = (\( \dfrac{10}{2}\) + 1)

= (5 + 1) = 6. ie., 6th term

Now,

T6 = T5+1

Hence, the middle term is -252.
