We have,

49 – x2 – y2 + 2xy

49 – (x2 + y2 – 2xy)

72 – (x – y)2

By using the formula (a2 – b2) = (a+b) (a-b)

[7 + (x – y)] [7 – x + y]

(x – y + 7) (y – x + 7)
