Solution :-

We have,

a2 + 14a + 48

By considering, p+q = 14 and pq = 48

So we can replace 14a by 8a + 6a

48 by 8 × 6

a2 + 14a + 48 = a2 + 8a + 6a + 48

= a (a + 8) + 6 (a + 8)

= (a + 6) (a + 8)
