Solution :-

15(y + 3)(y2 – 16) ÷ 5(y2 – y – 12)

y2 – 16 = (y)2 – (4)2

= (y + 4)(y – 4)

y2 – y – 12 = y2 – 4y + 3y – 12

= y(y – 4) + 3(y – 4)

= (y – 4)(y + 3)

Now,

\( \dfrac{15\times (y+3)(y+4)(y-4)}{5(y-4)(y+3)}\)

= 3(y + 4)
